INTRODUCTION
The result of more than 25 years of work with nonprofit boards and search committees is The Art of Hiring Leaders: A Guide for Nonprofit Organizations. The purpose of the book is to help a nonprofit organization understand the potential that an executive transition offers – the opportunity to think strategically, to create a vision that fits the individual nonprofit and the times, and then to find the right leader to help fulfill an organization’s hopes and aspirations.
